I have been working as a freelance English/Finnish translator and Finnish editor/proofreader since 1995.

My writing experience is quite extensive. I have published several scientific papers and translation technology articles in English, as well as several popular science and general articles in Finnish. I find this writing experience very useful in doing translations. Scientific work and writing have trained me to pay attention to details and active writing in Finnish keeps my Finnish writing style clear and fluent. I believe that this is also reflected in the translations that I do.
